Boy that was a quick divert off track!
I didn't think that yesterday's eating feast would stop. I got home and had another couple of sandwiches, this time with peanut butter and honey (remember my comfort food is bread and butter) then I cooked a steak & chips and shared the steak with the cat.
Luckily I've now finished off the last of the Christmas presents and cards. So the stress has past and I can move on and start to enjoy the Christmas session (and better eating).
Thanks to my house mate, I started and my friend finished cooking a pumpkin soup last night which was divided into containers and placed in the freezer for work lunches. Which means that I'll be back on track by next week!
However, first things first.....that loaf of bread has got to go!! I took two slices of bread to work so that I could have them at lunch time today (with my healthy soup) and all I did was slap loads of butter on each slice and devoured them before my soup!
What's wrong with me, why can't I get off this track that I'm going down? If I keep eating this butter in the quantity that I'm eating it then I'm going to start gaining weight and as we all know that doesn't lead to anywhere good.
Today, I need to stay positive even though I'm going out tonight with a friend to see a local play. I think I'll grab something from the supermarket before hand, so I'm not so hungry afterwards and therefore make a 'bad' decision. Fingers crossed xx
