Not a good week....

Sorry to say, but I have really been struggling this week with making the right food choices, drinking my water and exercising.

I finally got my steps up to 10k yesterday, but before that they were only 7k, 5k, 2k and 7k again. It would be nice if I could do a bit extra walking over the weekend and also get a few laps at the local swimming pool on Saturday morning.

As for the eating, I am currently 20 points over my allocated points for the week which is nearly a whole days worth of food and I can't seem to be able to claw it back. I've been out twice this week and I had takeaways on Sunday. To top it all off, I'm also out again tonight for another meal followed by the movies and all the food that goes along with it.

I have also been having issues with drinking enough water too. I was so turned off by the taste of water the other day that I had to add a little cordial just to keep me going. I'm not usually that bad, but I don't think the cold weather is helping me.

Anyway that's enough complaining from me, because I really should look on the bright side for example, I haven't had any chocolate even though there is usually a generous and constant supply of the evil stuff at work. I also resisted having a fried sandwich on Tuesday when everyone at work was going down to the local cafe for some comfort food.....I ate my apple instead. I have been conscious of the number of steps I'm taking each day and have been making an effort to walk more even in the snow, sleet and rain. And I really should remind myself that I could have taken the bus home last night, but instead I decided to walk which is a step in the right direction, so it speak hehe!

The weekend is here now and I will have more time on my hands to do what I want to do and if I'm honest I think I'm only complaining because I'm tired and cold......so if I sort those two issues over the weekend, then I can get back on track next week.
